MISSION STATEMENT

To drive commercial and operations of B’smart format and to maximize sales and profit as well as leading & developing a team to accomplish tasks, target and results.

ROLES :

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develops and implements strategies to improve customer services and experience on an ongoing basis.
  • Continually seeks and identifies methods to increase store sales and profitability; makes recommendations and/or implements changes as appropriate.
  • Work with BOM and all functional heads (Finance, marketing, HR, L&D, logistics, supply chain…) to work out strategy and execution plan to improve store’s performances.

Sales, Merchandise & Financial:

  • Collaborates with corporate representatives to develop and implement budgets, sales goals, marketing strategies and promotions.
  • Assesses periodic financial reports, evaluating performance against goals and implementing improvements and changes as required.
  • Develops metrics, milestones and goals for employees; ensures goals are met.
  • Manage all store financials and work on retail actions plan to improve store’s bottom line (EBITDA).
  • Lead merchandise team (incl. Senior Merchandise Manager, Category Manager and Executive) to execute efficient commercial activities, which help to enhance business results and deliver commercial KPIs (Front/ back margin; promotion ratio, efficient assortment)

Customer service:

  • Ensures a consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experience; resolves any customer services issues, complaints or requests.

People Management:

  • Mange and supervise team on the implementation of company practices, processes to promote the company’s core values.
  • Promote initiatives to utilize resources to uplift the business model, and positively impact on business results.
  • Organize the implementation of staff training/ coaching
  • Monitor employees’ performances/ evaluation/ rewards staff

Others:

  • Ensures physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness and attractiveness of all store facilities.
  • Develops and/or implements inventory control and security systems
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirement:

  • Fluent in English
  • 8 – 10 years of experience in CVS/ FMCG is preferred.
  • Show maturity characteristic when communicating with customers and colleagues.
