To implement Company trading and operating policy in Stores for which responsible and to maximize sales and profit for Stores managed (Regional)

ROLES
•Within overall Operating policy, daily operational decisions on implementation, contributing to development of policy
•Appraisal and development of Stores Management team. Works within agreed budgets for sales and profits

KEY RESULT AREAS
•To contribute to the formulation of Company trading and operations policy
•To manage the implementation of that policy in Stores for which responsible
•To agree and monitor the SGMs’ operation controls such as budgets, plans, organization and costs of their stores to ensure sales and profit targets are realized
•To develop and coach management in stores and agree promotions within stores to increase capability and maximize individual potential
•To ensure good communications are maintained within Stores and Head Office
•To ensure that appropriate safety standards are maintained within the Stores in accordance with Company policy and current legislation
•To work with other Senior Managers to achieve Company objectives and influence and define Company policy
•To identify ways individual stores can work together to increase sales and/or reduce costs, and support the movement of resource between stores
•To work with SGM to maximize sales potential of their catchments area by providing guidance and supporting customer recruitment activities
•To live up to the principles of the corporate Mission Statement and ensure that they are realized in the store
•To market the store in the local environment in order to present the best possible profile of the company
•To frequently examine the store in terms of procedure, layout and organization etc. and propose suggestions for improvements.

PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS

Effective performance of this job requires the person to be really hands-on and persistence to follow through meticulously key steps of the operational procedure. Essentially the profile of the job holder should include:
•Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications, preferably in Business, Economic or related discipline. (Must have)
•Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience, preferably in a service oriented businesses, such as hotel, fast food outlet, department store or supermarket, FMCG managing sizable workforce in meeting sales target
•Good leadership skills in coaching, counseling, development, motivation and performance management. Ability to inspire confidence in others, foster a team culture and achieve objectives through influencing of others
•Good communication (and listening) skills and fluency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken
•Personal quality such as maturity, integrity, career commitment and high energy level
•A high degree of business acumen with proven judgment in prioritizing tasks, having an understanding of competition and organizational core competencies
•A good understanding of key elements of running a wholesale / retail establishment including supply chain management, marketing, stock control and customer service
•Broad understanding of financial functions such as budgeting cost control, balance sheet, cash flow management and capital expenditure allocation
•Good interpersonal skills and ability to earn respect and trust from senior managers, peers, subordinates and external parties including governmental bodies and customers.
